The best and worst parts
The twin room was an excellent choice, comfortable and cozy! Breakfast hours were flexible, providing a great start to a day of skiing.
WiFi was troublesome, often needing to reconnect. The dining service started a bit late, which was frustrating for early risers.

the food was an absolute letdown, so lackluster and bland, I had higher hopes. also, the wifi? utter joke, it was non-existent during peak hours. I truly expected a complimentary bottle of wine for these inconveniences but alas, I woudl ve been treated like everyone else. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

The hotel's rustic decor with exposed beams created a warm, inviting atmosphere, making me feel right at home. The cozy bar area was perfect for relaxing after a day of skiing, and everything was easy to navigate.
More hooks for ski gear would be helpful.

Had a fantastic stay at Hotel Soldeu Maistre. The Twin Room was clean, with a refreshing hot shower and a sizable bathroom. There was a solid variety at the buffet dinner, especially enjoying the grilled meats and hearty choices. The staff were welcoming and checked on us regularly, making us feel valued throughout our stay.
The WiFi connection was spotty at peak times.

Food quality is a mixed bag. the dinner buffet can leave a lot to be desired with bland options and reported issues like raw chicken at times. The WiFi is pretty iffy, requiring constant re-logins, and some rooms lack adequate hooks and storage which can be a nuisance for those with ski gear. Room sizes are small, leading to cramped quarters—definitely something to consider if you're not traveling light. heated storage for ski gear could be improved as many found their equipment cold and damp in the morning.

Delicious food and superb staff service
I recently enjoyed a 3-night stay in a lovely twin room, where both the variety of meals and the warmth of the staff made my experience truly memorable. The buffet dinner featured a delightful range of options every night, and the breakfast included fresh pastries and an impressive selection of hot dishes. I can't express enough how helpful Mayra at the reception was, ensuring we checked in smoothly after a long journey. One improvement could be the addition of tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms.

During my stay in a Twin Room, the unique rustic charm of the hotel truly captivated me. The breakfast offered a delightful variety of options, fueling my daily adventures, while the attentive staff readily provided helpful local insights. A small downside was the limited storage in the room, but overall, a fantastic experience.

The location is convenient for accessing the gondola, albeit a steep walk, which might be challenging in ski boots. The buffet meals offered a delightful variety, particularly the grilled meats, and breakfast was accessible early, allowing me to fuel up for a day on the slopes. my room was cramped, with limited storage for ski gear and a single plug socket. while drinks were affordable, the lack of free lockers at the hotel was disappointing, and some bathroom fixtures required maintenance.

Cozy, Cozy, Cozy
I absolutely loved my stay here! The moment I walked into my twin room, the stunning balcony views of the surrounding mountains made every morning feel magical. Plus, with just a 5-minute walk to the gondola, I had direct access to all the skiing action!
Strongly recommend! 😊❤️
